ScanStation is made by DLM Innovations LLC (“we”). This policy covers two things: the ScanStation desktop app, and this website, where you create an account and subscribe.

The ScanStation app

What stays on your computer

ScanStation keeps everything it needs on the computer it runs on, in that computer's app-data folder:

• the settings you enter: your business name, your Shopify store address and app credentials, and, if you use one, your Google Sheet link and key file;
• a record of each show: the items scanned, sale numbers and times.

We don't receive any of this.

Who the app talks to

• Your Shopify store, using the credentials you entered. It reads your products (names, barcodes, prices and photos, to show them while you scan), stock levels and locations, and changes the “available” count of an item by one when you scan a sale or undo one. It never reads orders or customers, and never changes products or prices.
• Google, only if you turn on the Google Sheet. It writes your packing list to the sheet you chose.

This website

• Your account: your email address, to sign you in and to reach you about your subscription.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and billing history, never your full card number.
• Hosting and sign-in: our providers [HOSTING PROVIDER] and [SIGN-IN/DATABASE PROVIDER] process this data for us.

What we never do

We don't sell data, show ads, or track how you use the app.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. [RETENTION: how long billing records are kept, e.g. for tax.]
